La réserve de Jawai Bandh est une réserve protégée située dans le tehsil (sous-district) de Sumerpur, district de Pali, dans l'État indien du Rajasthan. Couvrant une superficie de 20 km², elle a été créée en 2010 afin de préserver une population unique de léopards cavernicoles dans la région. Les villages environnants sont habités par la communauté autochtone Rabari, qui coexiste avec les léopards depuis des générations. Leur respect traditionnel pour ces grands félins a contribué à minimiser les conflits entre l'homme et la faune sauvage dans la région. La réserve abrite une population d'environ 70 léopards indiens (Panthera Pardus Fusca).
Jawai Bandh Leopard Conservation Reserve is a protected conservation reserve located in the Sumerpur tehsil of Pali district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Covering an area of 20 km2, it was created in 2010 to safeguard the region’s unique cave-dwelling leopard population. Surrounding villages are home to the indigenous Rabari community, who have coexisted with leopards for generations. Their traditional reverence for these big cats has helped minimise human–wildlife conflict in the region. The reserve hosts a population of around 70 Indian leopards (Panthera Pardus Fusca).
